Thank you, Angora, for inviting me to your blog. It’s lovely to meet you. I’m sharing my latest release, Taken as Payment, which is a BDSM Sci-Fi romance.
Excerpt from "Taken As Payment"
His jaw had dropped and eyes widened into opaque moons when he’d come out of the shower. The look confirmed what she suspected—he wouldn’t deny her because he couldn’t deny himself the gift she offered him, just like the Chandros code stated—it was his duty to desire and pleasure her.
Iona waited, providing him time to assimilate her declaration of readiness. He scratched his chin—the end-of-day stubble had begun to grow back and it gave his face a sharper outline. His wet hair had risen up into short spikes and he ran his hand through it, combing it down. Those tiny gestures she liked. They proved he was weighing up the situation, judging her and, she thought, her appearance had made him a little nervous. Underneath his alpha armor, Xane had a caring heart.
“What do you want, Iona?” he asked softly.
She swallowed hard. A lump of nerves had formed in her throat. “You. And only you.”
“I don’t know if I can promise you that.”
“I know.” She smiled. “I can assure you, I need nobody else but you.”
Synopsis:
When she is taken from her home and forced to work in the powerful city of Chandros to pay the debts of her small farming community, twenty-year-old Iona Meers is furious. After an intimate, humiliating medical examination conducted in full view of Chief Inspector Xane—the man she considers responsible for her predicament—her seething anger turns into outright defiance.
Having noted both Iona’s rebelliousness and her helpless arousal during her examination, Xane decides to bring her home with him as his personal servant. Iona’s disobedience quickly results in her being pulled over Xane’s knee for a long, hard spanking on her bare bottom, yet despite her best efforts to ignore her body’s response to his dominance, she soon realizes that there is a reason Xane is known among his people for his skill as a virgin claimer.
Iona’s longing for Xane’s touch grows stronger with each passing day, and yielding to his dominant lovemaking arouses her beyond anything she could have ever imagined. But when a long-buried secret from her past comes to light and calls everything Iona thought she knew about herself into question, will it strengthen her bond with Xane or tear them apart forever?

About the Author:
Exploring the world of BDSM and romantic kinky lifestyles has been a passion of Jaye Peaches - to portray the desires beyond the erotic sexual encounters and unearth the personalities that lie beneath. Having written short stories and read many books, she issued a challenge to herself and decided to write her own novels of domination and submission.
When not writing, Jaye is busy spending time with her family, enjoying music, sometimes composing or drawing and if the weather allows, gardening.
Jaye lives in NW England.
Interview With Jaye Peaches:
1) Why do you write erotic romance?
I read many genres, erotica is just one of my favourite flavours, and I always wanted to be a writer since I was a small child. So when I found myself out of a job, I penned a few short stories and started a blog. I wrote solidly for a year without thinking about publishing. Then when my first submission was accepted by Stormy Night Publications, I built up a momentum and the ideas keep coming. Erotica is such a varied genre, it's not just about the romance and sex, it's the opportunity to experiment with lots of different scenarios and relationships. I also love to explore kink, especially power exchanges.
2) What inspired you to write your latest book "Taken As Payment"?
The latest trends in Sci-Fi are diverse and what influenced me was the idea in Hunger Games and Insurgent - that people have no choices and have to conform to what society dictates. So I conjured up a rebellious young woman and a stern alpha male to discipline her, and you've got the makings of an erotic BDSM story.
3) What was your favorite part about writing your book and why?
It's not all about the sex and kink, I enjoy creating the interplay between the characters. Tension and occasionally humour helps shape them. I wanted the heroine, Iona, to discover something about her past that would turn everything on its head for her. Suddenly, she's faced with the realisation she's not as different as she thought. It took a few drafts before I worked out how to do this.
4) If you could choose one of your characters to be a real person, who would it be and why?
It would have to be Xane, my alpha and dominant. He's sexy, firm and fair minded. Since he's a bit of a disciplinarian, he'd probably would help me focus on writing!
5) What is the most challenging aspect about being a writer?
Keeping my ideas original, the writing fresh and the readers interested enough to follow my endeavours. I like researching the facts and background to an idea, however, this can take up way too much time sometimes!
6) What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I'm a musician and if I'm not writing or reading, then I'm playing my instruments. The rest of the time is spent being mum to my kids and wife to my husband. Naturally, I'm happy being part of my family.
